
About the role
Are you an experienced and decisive leader in Housekeeping who consistently puts quality and guest experience first? Do you know how to motivate teams, optimize processes, and maintain high hygiene and service standards? Then we are looking for you!
As Housekeeping Manager, you are responsible for the daily operational management of the entire Housekeeping department within the resort, leading a team of approximately 40 employees and 5 supervisors. You ensure efficient staff planning, safeguard the quality of cleaning and service processes, and create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for both guests and employees
With your strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and focus on continuous improvement, you play a key role in delivering a consistent guest experience and supporting the ongoing professionalization of our Housekeeping operations.
This is a full-time position (40 hours per week), starting in July. An earlier start date is preferred for training and onboarding.

About the role

Lead and manage Housekeeping supervisors and indirectly oversee the full Housekeeping team, including Housekeepers, Housemen, and Laundry staff.

Organize and coordinate daily housekeeping operations to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and employees.

Develop and manage staff schedules based on occupancy levels and operational priorities to ensure efficient workforce deployment.

Monitor and safeguard housekeeping, hygiene, safety, and service standards through regular inspections and quality checks.

Prepare departmental plans, manage budgets, and monitor productivity, costs, and operational performance.

Analyze operational and financial results and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality.

Oversee procurement of housekeeping materials, guest supplies, linen, and external services, ensuring effective stock control and supplier performance.
Who are you?
You are an experienced and results-driven manager with a passion for hospitality and quality.
You are able to connect people, optimize processes, and feel comfortable working in an international and dynamic environment.

You have 3-5 years of experience in a managerial position within Housekeeping.

You know how to effectively optimize and implement work processes.

You have a guest-oriented attitude and an eye for quality.

You communicate clearly and know how to lead people in a connecting way.

You have an affinity for working in an international environment.

Experience working for a brand such as Hilton is an advantage.
Languages
Spanish and English: required
Papiamentu and Dutch: a plus
Availability
Willing to work a fixed schedule from Tuesday to Saturday
